The Board of Directors of the Australian Technology & Agricultural College Ltd (ATAC) provides strategic leadership, governance, and oversight to ensure the organisation achieves its mission of delivering high-quality education and training in agriculture, technology, and related industries. Comprised of experienced professionals from diverse academic, business, community, and industry backgrounds, the Board plays a critical role in guiding ATAC’s growth, strengthening community engagement, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and educational standards. The 2026–2027 Board reflects a strong commitment to sustainability, innovation, and inclusive education.

Dr. Narendra Nand
Director, Founder/CEO/Principal

Dr. Narendra Nand is the Founder of ATAC (established in 2015) and a highly experienced educator and community leader. He holds a PhD and MSc (Hons) from Griffith University and has served as a principal, adjunct lecturer, and leader in multicultural education initiatives. He has also provided significant financial and operational support to ATAC and continues to guide its strategic direction.

Ms. Irene Bayldon
Chairperson (ATAC)

Ms. Mary Irene Bayldon is an accomplished and respected leader, widely recognised for her outstanding contributions to community development and multicultural engagement. Her commitment to fostering inclusion, diversity, and social cohesion has been acknowledged through prestigious honours, including the Queensland Multicultural Award (2025) and the Community Broadcast Award (2026). With a strong passion for empowering diverse communities and amplifying underrepresented voices, she has played a pivotal role in building connections, promoting cultural awareness, and supporting community-driven initiatives. Known for her leadership, dedication, and impactful work, Ms. Bayldon continues to make a significant contribution to strengthening inclusive communities across Queensland.

Mr. Ramesh Rai
Director

Mr. Ramesh Rai holds a Diploma in Business and contributes through IT support and infrastructure development. He has extensive experience in retail and hospitality and provides operational support at ATAC.

Mr. Bramha Deo
Director

Mr. Bramha Deo is a highly experienced automotive mechanic and dedicated community worker with over 40 years of service. Throughout his extensive career, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to both technical excellence and community development. His practical expertise and hands-on approach have been instrumental in supporting infrastructure development initiatives, particularly within ATAC. In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Deo is widely respected for his long-standing involvement in community initiatives, where he continues to contribute his knowledge, skills, and time to foster growth and sustainability. His reliability, experience, and community-focused outlook make him a valued contributor to ATAC’s ongoing development and success.

Mrs. Natasha Roebig
Director

Natasha is the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Bee All Natural, an award-winning family enterprise dedicated to bee conservation, education, and artisan honey production. A passionate advocate for both Honey Bees and Native Bees, she leads initiatives in apiary educationbeeswax, and raw, creamed, and infused honey featuring native bush foods and ethically sourced spices.

A reknowned Bee Education Provider and Certificate III Beekeeping delivery partner, Natasha plays a pivotal role in developing the next generation of professional beekeepers and strengthening the state’s apiculture sector.

She is also the Co-Founder and creative lead of Alvea Australis, a natural product range inspired by Australian bushfoods, butters, and essential oils. In addition, Natasha serves on the Board of Directors at the Australian Technology & Agricultural College (ATAC), contributing to the advancement of vocational education in agriculture, horticulture, and apiculture.

Recognised as the 2019 QLD AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award winner and an Official #eatqld Ambassador (2020), Natasha continues to champion Queensland’s boutique honey industry while exploring ventures that reflect her passion for sustainability, innovation, and community impact.

Mrs. Wanshika Rai
Board Secretary

An experienced and results-driven Business Manager at ATAC, holding a Bachelor of Accounting and Business and a Master of Business (Finance) from Queensland University of Technology (QUT). Bringing a strong foundation in financial management, strategic planning, and operational leadership, they have successfully combined academic expertise with practical industry experience. With a background as a Retail Business Manager and Trainer, they possess well-developed skills in team leadership, staff development, and customer-focused business growth. Known for their ability to drive performance, implement efficient systems, and support organisational objectives, they contribute effectively to both commercial success and continuous improvement within educational and training environments.

PATRON- Prof. Rood Drew

Emeritus Professor Roderick Alastair Drew (Doctor of Science, PhD, B.Ag.Sc.) is a distinguished academic and internationally recognised expert in Plant Biotechnology and Horticulture. With an extensive career dedicated to advancing plant science, he has made significant contributions to research, education, and global horticultural development. Professor Drew served as President of the International Society for Horticultural Science (2014–2018) and played a leading role as Chairman of the International Horticultural Congress held in Brisbane in 2014. He is also a prolific academic editor, having contributed to the publication of hundreds of plant science journal articles and numerous ISHS publications. His leadership, scholarly excellence, and commitment to innovation have positioned him as a highly respected figure in the global scientific community.
